The wait is almost over. The new smart #2 will make its global debut at the Paris Motor Show on 12 October 2026, giving the world its first official look at smart’s next-generation city car.

First revealed at the Beijing Auto Show, the smart Concept #2 offers a glimpse into the future of compact electric mobility. This ultra-compact two-seater combines a distinctive design with an anticipated electric range of almost 185 miles.
As a concept vehicle, the smart Concept #2 is presented for demonstration and exhibition purposes only and is not currently offered for sale. The dimensions shown are specific to the concept and may change before the production model reaches the road.

At the heart of the smart #2 is the new ECA platform, engineered to bring together compact dimensions, responsive handling and advanced safety.
A 35.7 kWh battery is paired with a five-link independent rear suspension, helping the smart #2 achieve an impressively tight 6.95-metre (22.8 ft) turning circle. The result is a city-focused driving experience that feels agile and refined, while placing safety firmly at its core.

The radiator grille draws inspiration from the fashion house's classic patterns and features a design that stylishly references the car's electric powertrain.
A subtle shout-out to the Mercedes-Benz Design Center in Sindelfingen. These coordinates mark the spot where the first design sketches of the smart Concept #2 came to life.
